Long time, no see! Thought I'd drop by and see if you were still around ... that wasn't you I saw in the den of vipers recently? Was it? Heheheh.

I really missed talking cricket with you this year! I'm afraid I succumbed to the twitter revolution and tweeted my way through the Ashes! Being restricted to <= 140 chars was a challenge ... you know, I've discovered it is actually possible to talk about cricket without writing an essay! Of course, "nice ball, Hilfy! Onya!" was about as good as it got, but 'twas a hoot nonetheless. Oh, and Gilly once tweeted me while Mr Simkat was peeking over my shoulder ...

Oh, and I think I became a fan of Ricky Ponting along the way. Shhhhhh.

In general, twitter is very American-centric but the Ashes was a trending topic in twittersville most nights of the tests (for techno-midgets that means a lot of ppl were talking about it ) - half the fun was having the topic trend and confusing all the yanks. I know, I'm easily pleased . David Lloyd tweeted through out the test too ... problem is, he hasn't stopped! hehehe.
