How about the pommy sook we got stuck next to on Day 2? What a tosser. Typical of the drunken pisstank yobbos element, he preferred going over to the barmy army and singing instead of watching the game. Can't understand that philosophy myself, if you've paid for a ticket, watch the farking match. If you want to sing, go to the pub, w**ker.
Still, it was good to have Trevor there so we could poke him with a stick.

Re: MCG Day 3
Classic moment afterwards while waiting to cross Flinders Street, a taxi with Athers in the passenger seat stopped at the lights.
Best sledge ever, after exchanging a few pleasantries...
"So now Glenn McGrath's announced his retirement, are you thinking of making a comeback?"
I laughed so hard I nearly fell into the traffic.

Re: MCG Day 3
You made the sledge? Then burst out laughing at the quality of your sledge?

Re: MCG Day 3
There was no mention of "we". Makes a bit more sense.
Way it's written, bloke goes up to Athers on his own, brings out the sledge, almost falls into the road at the genius of his tonguemanship.
Sounds like a weirdo.

Re: MCG Day 3
Dello...MB made the sledge, straight faced...we (apart from MB of course) all fall around laughing, and Athers just smiles...the lights took an age to change and it got a little uncomfortable.

It always gets uncomfortable when Athers smiles. He wasn't made for smiling, poor lad...

Probably because I am a bit of a weirdo.
I should have written it better.
Still, the story's out now, and that's all that matters.
