Only Tim deLisle could manage it . . .

Post by tac on Tue Oct 16, 2007 9:01 pm

In an attempt to clarify the second best team in the world by looking at rankings in Tests, ODI and T20, Timmy comes to the following conclusion:

We can tentatively conclude that Australia are the best team in the world, despite being mediocre at Twenty20. India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Pakistan, New Zealand and England really are much of a muchness

Why's that, furry? His piece is poorly argued whether it be a wind-up or not. Bit like one of your posts, in fact. Very Happy

Perhaps he's just trying to provide an alternate, interesting viewpoint to it all? Cricket is meant to be fun, after all. So whats wrong with having a bit of fun with ratings and statistics? Lighten up you lot.

Who's wound up? I'm just commenting on his poor methodology in coming to his feeble conclusion. A total waste of 3 mins reading time.
