Henry wants to come back to Pakistan
FORMER Australian fast bowler Geoff Lawson says he is willing to return to the Pakistan coaching job - but only if the Pakistan Cricket Board offer a full apology for sacking him from the role last year.
No official approach has yet been made to Lawson, but the former NSW captain indicated exclusively to The Daily Telegraph that he would only consider the role if he managed to settle his differences with PCB chairman Ejaz Butt.
"I would not consider any offers from Pakistan Cricket while Ejaz Butt was still involved in any capacity with the PCB unless he offered a full and detailed apology", Lawson said.
On 16 July 2007, he was appointed coach of the Pakistan cricket team for two years, becoming the third foreigner (South Africa's Richard Pybus and Bob Woolmer being other two) to take on the role.

But on 20 October 2008, PCB chairman Ijaz Butt stated Lawson's contract would not be renewed once his term finished in April 2009, stating, "we have no utility for Lawson”.
Lawson was subsequently sacked on October 24.
Even after removal, Geoff Lawson was shown to keep loyalties. In the recently concluded Pakistan vs. Australia series, he was reportedly seen wearing a Pakistan T-Shirt.
Lawson doesn't want to recommend any name to the PCB for Intikhab Alam's successor.
"I have no suggestions as to a suitable replacement but Ejaz Ahmed seems like a good person to start with,” he said.
"Mautisham Rasheed should be immediately reinstated as the fielding coach on full time basis to help restore the quality of fielding”.

Re: Henry wants to come back to Pakistan
Henry is still good friends with the players BUT doesn't like the people running Pak cricket.
i don't think Butt will hire him again
i personally won't mind him coming back because he did more for Pak cricket than any other coach, he could have easily chickened out of the job after BB's death but he not only came back to Pak but also tried to convince other teams to visit the country.
