Wales v Australia will probably be a thriller if the past 2 encounters have anything to go by.

Close, well fought and entertaining. Both sides seem to bring the best out of one another.

It's gonna be fun smerky.

It'll be our first grand slam tour since 1984, with a game against the ABs in Japan on the way to the UK.

Does it make you weep when you read the names of the Reds players during that time, Mick.

Gould, Moon, Slack, McClean, O'Connor(I think), Pilecki, Lynagh, Lawton. How the mighty have fallen.

Though watching Mark Ella weave his magic you could almost forgive him for being a spiv.

Phillips might miss the opener against the All Blacks.

"We are not sure if it is a bone or ligament injury," Holley told BBC Sport. "It's too early to say [if Phillips will be out]. He tried to carry on and clearly it wasn't responding so we will have to wait and see."

Hell, we need him fit for at least the Argentina and Australia game. No point risking him though. The Kiwi's will rough him up to much for him to continue if he plays.

Dwayne Peel in as replacement Scrum Half probably. Unless, there's a better candidate?

Surprised there's not more interest from the Aussie forummers, Mynah/Taips, English forummers and JKL (lone Scotsman).

People might see it as a petty contest, but its exciting for Northern/Southern Hemisphere encounters.

Sorry Smerky, I think for a lot of Australians on here Rugby is their 2nd or 3rd favourite football code. They enjoy wactching it but don't really get excited weeks in advance.

Shouldn't you be asleep or are you on the blow again?

Blow.

I agree, but its Wales and Australia in the same contest. One of those rare occurrences. (in Flaming Bail years).

We'll get trashed no doubt, but its International Rugby! Not sure, but it gets me excited. shrug

I thought Wales had been OK in recent years and we have been ordinary.

We beat the Wallabies last year, but the face of Rugby changes from year to year.

Who knows how it will turn out. All down to how we fare against NZ, Samoa and the Argentinians.

Also, Robbie Deans....bit of Andrew Hilditch in him?

Don't know about that. We always thought that Hilditch was a bit of a dud qunt but Deans had been touted as been better than Jesus. So in a way he's worse.
