"Aus disaster all the fault of one player"Yousuf

http://www.cricinfo.com/pakistan/content/current/story/447711.html

The Pakistani circus rumbles on, and the blame game for the Aus nightmare has started. He mentioned that the player was dropped during the Australian series, so I guess it either has to be Shoaib Malik, Umar Gul, or Kamran Akmal.

Personally, I think Yousuf is a bit of a high and mighty c*nt who's as responsible as anyone for the defeats in Aus. He hardly did anything with the bat, and seems to think that he's untouchable, and is also severely delusional about his ability as a captain, when in truth he is arguably the worst captain Pakistan has ever had.

Yousuf defended his leadership, arguing that nobody wanted the job when the toughest challenges presented themselves. "I don't have natural leadership qualities in me but I have tried hard to do a good job of the responsibility given to me," he said. "It is unfair to compare me with Ricky Ponting as far as captaincy is concerned because he is far more experienced. I accepted the captaincy in the best interest of my country.

"If you look around the world every country's top performing player is the captain. If in Pakistan a youngster becomes the top performing player in the side by all means make him captain. I did it at a difficult time when nobody was prepared to do it."

Trev ...do you actually read the whole articles and quotes?

Who cares if it was only t20, it was still a hell of a hitting spree.

"From New Zealand onwards Intikhab was telling me to be wary of him, but I wanted to see for myself. I saw in Australia how his body language was and we dropped him from the Tests. We decided in Australia during a meeting that we had to do something about him."

They seemed reluctant to drop Akmal after Sydney ...they made Malik captain for the T20 after Afridi got suspended ...which leaves Gul ...who I hardly think is a senior enough player to blame the whole tour on (but blaming the Wozzie could be a Global Problem)...or they put Dracula in charge of the blood bank

I'll agree with you on this , Trev ...MoYo is full of it

Sometimes you need to point at the tits as well as commenting on their niceness

mostly it would be malik. he was dropped for the first 2 tests in australia, which is what moyo seems to be alluding to

he's also been known to be disruptive. but then again so is more than half the team
