Bit hard to believe Kamran has been keeping up a charade for his whole career, to get money from fixing in Sydney. Must be the world's greatest actor.

And genuinely sad that Butt and Aamer sank so low. Let's face it, not all that surprising that Asif's involved.

I can see an argument coming where it's said that as they haven't been charged by the police they must be innocent.

Pretty dumb of NOTW not to have time and date stamps on the vid. FFS, guys, it's just the push a couple of buttons. But even then, the time and date can be incorrectly set. Or did they do it deliberately, to maintain an air of ambiguity?

They surely must have lodged copies of it with the police before hand? Or at least someone like a legal team? But I think the trio can only be charged by the police if any bookies have been defrauded by the no balls.

As tom said, it's highly unlikely that NOTW would take the legal risk of filming the video after the no balls took place.

Paksters clutching at straws, and as usual blaming everyone but themselves. Yeah yeah, it's all a conspiracy and it's everyone's fault but theirs etc..... Rolling Eyes

Unfortunately, the ICC really are stupid enough and weak enough to let them get off the hook yet again.

You see footage of Amir and Butt, and they're walking around smiling and joking, seemingly unaware of the seriousness of it all, or perhaps completely confident that they'll get off the hook, which is hardly surprising considering how weak the PCB and ICC are when it comes to punishing players.

Is the ICC the "Worst Administration Ever"? What a bumbling bunch of clods. They make the US Baseball administrators look like geniuses.

Nice move by the ICC. Suspending the three and charging them AFTER the three had stood down from the rest of the tour.

I'd suggest there will be a split in cricket soon, with the countries that want to play under a body that has more power and actually does something in one camp, and the countries that are as happy as Larry for their players to be corrupt, and cheat, in the other.

There is no doubt they are innocent. I have just seen the Pakistani High Commissoner on the news and it is clear that it is a setup.

Some of the money found in Salman Butt's room was apparently from the 150k given to Majeed.

What new conspiracy theories will come out next, maybe that the hotel was in on a setup too and their cleaners planted it there? Laughing

You can get the same trash on most blogs/forums. Notably "The Link" on ESPNCRICKET, Rediff etc.
