Cosgrove who? Laughing

Is he the Aussie Billy Bunter lookalike?

Makes Steve Smith look like a veritable bean pole.

Well done Glammy.

Looks like Hants have lost Lumb for the rest of the season. Will miss the T20 finals day - also may open the door for Alex Hales in the T20's later this season.

Dwayne Bravo has turned up at Essex today for what could be one match! Danish Kaneria is back for Saturday as well as Ryan Ten Dustcarts. Huzzah.... our bowling looks utter filth though so we'll need all the batsmen to come to the party!!

Lost by 241 to Glamorgan Evil or Very Mad Well done Skerky.

And looks like Vik has resigned the captaincy too.

Now Mark Newton goes too - to be replaced as chief exec by David Leatherdale.

cheers

Thanks lads, I suppose we're doing well in the only trophy that matters. We will still end up cocking it up against Derbysh!te toward the end of the season no doubt.

Ah well, top of the tree for now!

Bloody ridiculous siging a player for potentially one game. No blame attaches to Essex as they are only exploiting the existing rules. This loophole needs to be closed.

What did it cost Hants for the handful of games KP played in the past 6 years?

And to be fair he is a direct replacement for Scott Styris who is unavailable, it's not like they're adding to their squad just for finals day.

Anyway Dwayne will probably get 0 and 0-45, and pick up his cheque on the way to the airport in a few hours. Nice work if you can get it.
