Jimmy Harris' firm 15 not out guides Glamorgan to a better-than-expected 290 against the Foxes.

He also got the early second innings wicket of Max Boyce - who has strangely turned up in Swansea as a Leicestershire opening batsman.

Has he brought his outsize leek, and jokes about the England rugby team?

Kruising it.

Meh, draw.

Need. Some. Wins.

Still, we've only lost 2 out of 11 games this season. Expected us to take a few arse whoopings.

If the White Rose can't do it, it'll have to be the proper Rose to administer that caning.

Good two days for Nottinghamshire, first turning a close match into a total caning of Warwickshire, who are so abject that Ashley Giles should just be shot, and then seeing all the rivals struggle to not particularly spectacular results. This is probably our best chance of winning a trophy in five years, this season, as we're still in strong contention in every form of the game. Obviously, we want the County Championship most of all and it would be a heck of a feat winning it with this collection of nobodies + Paul Franks MVP. I think the addition of Alex Hales and Steven Mullaney to all the squads has been the key difference, they've both been brilliant to varying degrees.

Just looked at Stuart Broad's figures when playing for Nottinghamshire - 43 wickets at 18.58. That's pretty much what you expect from an international class bowler, an injection of class.

Lever at least had the decency to make a thread about it.

Couldn't they have signed up the Tazzie keeper as an essential part of a twofer package?

As in: No Paine, no McGain?

Lancs record is a laugh. The only team in the CC still unbeaten - but 6 draws / 9.

They signed Powell (!) and (the wrong) McCullum. What they needed was a quick bowler.

Not so sure about that Peter ...... we've been rolling sides over well enough.

It's a good top order batsman who can pile the runs on quickly that we've really missed. We should have at least 8 more batting bonus points, often falling short of the next milestone by just a few runs.

It was meant more as a sarcastic aside at the quality of seamers that have been signed up.

essex by 9 wickets, how many go through in the pro40?

Bopara 88*

Notts on their way to a win too, Alex Hales also 88*

The Unicorns making the pears sweat as well

Any of you Notts tossers know how long Andy Carter has on his contract? Hopefully we can tap him up. Been very impressive by all accounts - certainly compared to some of the other piemongers we have.

Pears lose to the Unicorns - ah well, we're nothing if not consistent.
