Bledisloe I

Post by Mick Sawyer on Fri 30 Jul 2010, 22:01

It's on in an hour and I'm revving higher than F1 engine about to vaporise.

The ABs in their best form for 5 years or more, the Wallabies without their most creative player. THe ABs in a canter then? No

Great start to the game. That second all blacks try was genius.

I haven't sat and watched a RU match for longer than a few minutes for so long! Probably the Eales/Mortlock/Kefu era...

I haven't bothered subjecting myself to the inevitable humiliation at the hands of the mighty ABs.

Don't know that Eales and Mortlock's careers would have overlapped by much.

Despite getting thrashed I still enjoyed that more than last week's match against South Africa.

We might have beaten the Boks, but the Saffies negative style of play made for a turgid contest.

The All Blacks played football, and it was great to watch.

It would be nice if the Wallabies learned how to play for 80 minutes though.

Way too much ineffective tackling from the Wallabies. Arm grab ugly misses and those where the ABs were able to take the extra 3 or 4 strides which in turn produces lightening ball. Nathan Sharp, Rocky Elsom, Will Genia and Richard Brown were the worst offenders.

It's the thing that makes the result easier to cop.
