India v Aus in India in October

Post by skully on Sat 24 Jul 2010, 00:22

Both teams aren't travelling great but I am very worried about fragility in our batting and lack of penetration in the bowling.

I think Fleas and Pup will go OK with the bat and Milf will toil all day with the ball but Viru and SRT may make mincemeat of the others on dusty Bannie tracks.

I favour an Indian series win based on the latest form, unless India's total lack of penetration with the ball allows Aus to escape with 2 draws.

Just waiting for Trev to put forward the idea of Australia resting Simon Katich or Michael Clarke for Usman Khawaja to make his debut.

Rest Ollie, out of the side for good. His giant backlift on low slow decks will have Bhajji salivating.

No way, Ponting's just found form. He'll be devastating in India (for a change).

Can't be fun for Ponting to play in England and India in the same year with the potential of failing on both tours. (50% success rate at the moment).

India will destroy Australia.

I like India - Aus series, whoever wins I will always be happy to laugh at the losers.

That's unfair. Eyes are fine. It's brain that's failing.

In cricket I'm more likely to lose my bails.

mohali and bangalore. not great tracks for spinners

india should still win comfortably provided we have a full team, zaheer being most crucial in bowling

though we are poor starters to a series, so in a 2 test series aus has its best chance not to lose the series. a good first innings in mohali and some dogged batting in bangalore could get a shock win
