Making 88 in the 1st innings meant Aus didn't deserve to win and meant that Aamer deserved MoM. A real prospect if he can stay fit.

Weird captaincy by Drunky. Only 2 slips and no Third man. One catch went directly to 3rd slip and 4 boundaris went to 3rd Man
I couldn't possibly comment.

WTF?
Yeah, he's alright but any close call involving Pakistan and he's a one eye.
Anyway, well done Paksters. Australia did pretty much all you can do to win a test after folding for 88 on the first day.
Sets up an interesting test series against England. They have the better bowlers, but I fancy their tail with the youngster coming in at 8.

Looks like Watto's dropped catch cost us the series.
Yeah, good call. Making 88 in the first innings had nothing to do with it.

A fair result.
You don't deserve to win or draw after being bundled out for 88, and it means Ponting will never win a series in England.
Who was the last long term Aussie skipper not to win in a series in England? Hughes?

I can. Sure, he doesn't have TGM x 2 at his disposal any longer, but his captaincy is devoid of imagination and even commonsense.
As you say, he will go down as never having captained a winning series in England. P!ss poor to say the least.
I wonder what sh!te Hilditch will come up with this time?

Indeed. I wasn't exactly biting my fingernails (40 with 7 wickets in hand should've been a doddle) and Drunky's fields were dreadful but the boys fought it out till the end.

Well done the Paksters ... though how close did they come to throwing the game away?!!
Clean catch by Hussey ... denied when referred to the Pakistan third umpire ... hmmmm... no comment !!
Ponting's field placings defy belief - knowing the Paksters play across the line of the outswinger ... and knowing that's exactly what Hilf, Bolly and Michelle were bowling - yet no 3rd slip and a vacant 3rd man position to leak a valuable 16 (out of 40) runs this morning ... wierd game plan!
15 years was a long time to wait ..... know the feeling!!

And at least one of our players (KP) will go into the test with no match practice. Pakistan might just catch us cold in the first test.

This Pakistan team you feel could play a Test on that Antigua road where Lara got his two world records and it would still be over in four days...
Big test for England's batting, has to be the best pace attack they've faced for some time. I know SA are strong as well but they do tend to rely on one or two bowlers a lot, there's three for them to really think about here.

Young Aamer looks class and Asif won't be easy if conditions are right. The Pakster bowling realised their potential in this Test.
So what positives can Aus take out of the series? Fleas' continued good form, Watto and Milf's bowling, maybe Smithy's batting and definitely Paine's keeping.
The negatives, Watto's drop off in form with the bat, Drunky being no longer the power he was with the bat added to his idiot captaincy, Ollie's poor batting and Midge's woeful bowling.
I'd say the negatives outweight the positives.
