Did he get caught up in the big crash. I know he was 35s behind Cancellara after the prologue.

Great stage tonight - a fair bit of it on cobblestones Paris-Roubaix style. Apparnetly Contador hasn't done any race training on the cobblestones this season so there could be some crashes.

39 seconds down, with one team mate VSF and out about 15 minutes into the race.

Evans most likely gawn as a contender this year.

Still 39 seconds behind Cancellara. Evans's problem is one of his team mates (Mathias?) was injured and out of the race in the first stage.

The usual bike curious suspects then.

Speaking of, WTF has happened to Cavendish? Has he changed suppliers or sumthink?

I not going to acknowledge that Evans is even in the race until they've completed all the climbing. Anything prior to the mountains ain't even foreplay.

Cadel seems to have had a fall - not good given the first category 1 climb is today.
