On the wireless this morning they were telling the story about how Mark Nicholas hosted Warnie for a round of golf at Sunningdale in the UK. After the round they were having a drink and were surrounded by a few people and Sean Connery burst through the mob, held his hand out and said (with requisite accent) "Shane Warne, I'm Sean Connery. I have wanted to meet you for a while".

Hardly surprising. Connery got to act as renowned pants man James Bond. Warney was (and probably still is) a renowned pants man in reality.

Last round of the Australian Open on today. I guess all sports fans on the forum will be watching it with great interest. At the moment Geoff Ogilvy looks odds on to win it after playing some wonderful golf through the first 54 holes.
