He's had 5 blobs in 6 innings and a couple of pairs already. Not a great season....

Chris Rogers (very much in the runs) and Phil Jaques (not in the runs yet) are both over there already ... both well ahead of Usman for this potential vacancy I'd have thought.

Bad dislocation, then? Surgery needed?

Yeah, he did it in training yesterday and I think he's already had surgery.

Several others ahead of Khawaja, but he does play for NSW so he gets a leg up.

Re: Phil Hughes dislocates his shoulder.....
Rogers is too old, and isn't much of a team man, whilst Jaques is hopelessly out of form. Khawaja can open the batting or bat in the middle order, and has done both for NSW.

We're gone! How will we cope without the next Bradman in the team?

Did he dislocate it taking his leather jacket off or putting it on?

Re: Phil Hughes dislocates his shoulder.....
Details
"Phillip Hughes has severely injured his shoulder in Sydney and is expected to miss three series over the winter.
The young opener dislocated his left shoulder during boxing training.
After scans, Hughes decided to have an operation to repair the damage in the coming days.
Doctors had advised that he faced a 90 per cent chance of the injury recurring if he did not have surgery."

I know you've got a thing for young blokes from Sydney, and Khawaja - at 22 - fits that bill, but what about David Hussey or Chris Hartley? They both had more than respectable Shield seasons with the bat.
FTM, Steve Smith is a Dubber who's more consistent than Khawaja with the bat.
