In simple terms Merls, Dello threw the balls in the air and gave all those with 10,000+ posts limited Moderator status.

As mentioned in another thread, it doesn't amount to much but does allow the new "Elders" to Rikki and UnRikki threads, edit posts (of naughty words one would presume) and thread headings.

Some of the new "powers-that-be" had a wee bit o' fun in the first day or two and edited a post here and there. They have settle down now.

Vikas had a massive hissy fit and stormed off in a huff, vilks did similar, Farkwit hasn't been sighted and one or two others appear to be laying low.

Storm in a tea-cup really. Or Swarm in a B-Cup in Vikas' case.
