So whose next most likely to retire? MtFTB, Gilly, MacGoo? The middle order looks pretty settled so that possibly rules out Nicky. And the bowling looks fairly settled as well. My guess would be either Haddin or Rogers for the no. 400 Baggy Green.

Hilfenhaus is likely to be the next Australian debutant. I reckon Noffke has the best chance of being number 400, purely because fast bowlers are more likely to go down injured.

Ronchi, Magoffin and McGain would be outside chances.

Probably depends on the reserve keeper and backup bowler decisons for the upcoming WI tour.

Seeing Spud now seems to have confirmed that he is one of the top 4 quicks as far as the selectors are concerned, then we appear to have back up if injury strikes a quick (assuming Hogggyyy!!! plays in most Tests except WACA). So given the state of Roy's ankle, I would single Nicky out as the most likely No 400 Baggy Greener.

Next-in-line replacements...

Openers: none, there's more chance of NLWL making a comeback than a new opener getting picked
No. 3: Fleas
Middle order: TLS or Watto (selectors love him, remember)
Keeper: Haddin
Spinner: McGain
Quicks: Noffke and Hilf

I'll lean towards Noffke getting cap 400 in the Windies with Midge axed after being too ineffective and Tait breaking down.
