But wouldn't this put Lardy [and Vilks] out of business?

Maybe the whole forum, but as i don't come on often any more, reading promising thread titles, and then reading stuff from 12 months ago, doesn't exactly encourage me.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I suppose Lardy and Vilks need a good talking to, because this necromancy business has massively disrupted the flow of the forum.

Nobody knows if a thread is new, or old, especially if (as you say) they are a seldom visitor or poster to the forum.

I recall Dello saying he'd ban anyone who TB'd again. Maybe Topbottoming current threads isn't as bad a Necro-Bottoming (NBing) such as in this instant. Although, despite the massive bumping recently - re-reading a couple of old threads is fun and nostalgic (like Skully said) - especially "Merls" and other threads where some of the banter was pretty amusing. However, bumping a whole page from 2007, is nigh ridiculous and I think Vilks was just making a point at the absurdity of bringing up a story or topic which wasn't discussed for at least two years.

Maybe we'll all learn a valuable lesson that bringing up bones from the past is not a sensible nor ideal practice.

When I say bones, I mean, actual bones, you know that muscle and marrow is attached to. Not bones as in, what Danny gets over Helen Mirren. Before we start discussing that sh!t.

almost - being the key word.

To be fair, I don't even know what Danny supposedly said. Apparently, Taipan heard Danny tell JKLever something - on the sly.

shrug

Not sure what word you use to describe this sort of interaction.

Also, for anyone who's interested (and to avoid disrupting the forum further) - I'll be over on this thread...

Feel free to join me whenever, I'll be on page 7 with tears in my eyes.
