Only requires Haddin and Midge to apply the bit of bang-bang, and NZ are done up like a kipper.

Is it any wonder that Modi's All-Star Thumpers are such a hit? I ask you.

Nope, I actually like Punter, he's straight. He may be a moron with two heads talking at 'crosspurposes' but he's straight.
Bingle's bungle on the other hand...

Urgh, there's only 4 1/2 decent test teams in the world at the moment- India, South Africa, England, Australia, and Sri Lanka at home.
New Zealand, Pakistan, The Windies and Bangladesh are all as bad as each other.
The case for a 2 tier test league grows stronger.

Good declaration by Drunky, and a good start by Aus. NZ crabbing their way into Aus hands. 2-20 at Tea chasing 5d-459.
Excellent footwork by Midge to run out some neville.

skully wrote:Tidy knock by your man, sk, slightly sullied by his run out of Drunky. But Pup's knock, particularly after Tea, was the highlight if the day. 91 runs at near a run a ball in the session to go to an unbeaten ton. Ollie was tidy as well.

Excellent. it's one of the reasons I like Katich so much.
Pleased for pup and Ollie too. I actually like watching North bat (well, I enjoyed his Cardiff ton) so I hope he can do enough this tour to keep his possie in the side.

In the Kiwi side, only Taylor, Vettori and McCullum seem to know which end of the bat to hold.
