FFS Merls, it was the Waltz. He was sniffing Charleston backstage with Asif.

Hardly surprising that the PCB directs the blame solely at the players and takes no responsibility for Pakistan's poor showing whatsoever.

In what regard shouldn't they? If they're citing certain players for the unrest, would they be incorrect? Maybe I don't know as much as I should. Seems to me, they were individuals getting too big for their boots - a bit like England though on a more dramatic scale.

Have to say Mohammed Yousef's indictment does surprise me.
Aways figured he was a mellow guy, talented and without malice ...
Switched from Christianism to Islam and all that .... grew a beard .... etc.
But I guess, looks can deceive!

But they selected the players in the first place. They're clearly trying to deflect accountability in order to keep their jobs.

Yeah, but we just don't know the sitch. They could've said "Look, we're picking you but don't act a qunt". You can't blame the board for the individual's behaviour.

Funny things is binning YK. Guy did not get co-operation as a captain from afridi & co., didn't even tour Aus and yet got blamed for the mess. Quite bizarre.

Needless drama again....
UNLESS there is match fixing involved court will overturn all of these bans

p.s the "bans" on Yousuf and Younis are NOT life bans so i am sure both players will be back for the tour of England.

After England's last 5-0 tour to Australia I would have been in favour of few bans, suspensions & fines so I can see where the PCB are coming from. Not really logical or effective in anyway but what a lot of fun!

You do worry about the future of Pakistan as a whole if their cricket is in anyway a microcosm of their society in general.
