Have hardly seen him, but he seems to score runs. That said, it seems we're at the point in the cycle where it's harder to get out of the Aussie cricket team than to get in. He might be waiting a while.

Frankly Copeland is the form bowler in Shield cricket so it's astonishing that he isn't there.

Totally agree. Bollinger is hopeless on slow soft NZ wickets. His performances at Bellerive over the years should have alerted the selectors to that. Copeland on the other hand, was a match winner there a couple of weeks ago. I think i said at the time, he should have been sent straight to NZ.
