Well, perhaps. Thing is, he's very often out lbw to balls he's defending - he just seems to miss them. It's bizarre, like how Thorpe suddenly had a complete nightmare against Graeme Smith all those years ago for no apparent reason.
Aye, Thorpey... similar with Micky V and a few part-time dobbers. Maybe it's the general innocuousness of SLA's that he allows himself to relax, he always seems his best when he's being tested. It's just one of cricket's little intricacies. Usually it's just lame-brained twattishness that brings his downfall.

Who could forget Vaughan's wicket at OT in 2005.

Phurt. Ponting was a better bowler than Lee.

He just looked ever threatening. Showed he was a strong bloke, he was bowling of a jog and hardly got through his action yet he was still as 'lively' as Collingwood's quicker stuff. Shows also the weak Aussie attitude, 'ooh my back' and all that. Shitbag.

County Cricket and the IPL will snap him up immediately.
He'll be playing for England in 5 years time.

Ridiculous, he's 22. FFS.
He's giving up the chance of a lifetime, for the sake of dignity.
What happened to "taking the rough with the smooth"?

And an average of 19 in test cricket... you'd have to think he's just not well in the head.

Averaging 19 for the worst side in international cricket - hmm, possibly not often confused for Tendulkar then.

No self respecting cricketer who has at least some ability should fark off his stats by bowling declaration pies.
It's not a FC match, so it doesn't really matter.
But if it makes you feel better, Cook has 5 @ 34.

He has obviously retired so that he can check himself in to a sanitarium.
