New Top Gear

Post by skully on Mon 15 Feb 2010, 21:22

On tonight on Nein in about 10 minutes. Aus special prolly followed by an older series repeat.

Still, Eric Banner taking on Clarkson should be a grin.

And I'm still farked how Nein is gonna squeeze 60 minutes of BBC Top Gear into 42 minutes. Qunts should make it a 90 minute show so we see the lot.

It's the first episode of the series shown on the Beeb late last year, then the Winter Olympic Special, which is (i think) four years old.

My friend Bob* has seen all the series. The airship incident is a classic.

Series 13 was early last year, series 14 was late last year. Farq knows which one nein will show.

Nine is showing s14 I think.

The Winter Olympics special is from 2004 I think. It was certainly pre 2006 because they talk about the Turin games in the future tense.

I went to the Top Gear stage show with BabyKv1 on Sunday. Good fun, if predictable.

Would have been even better to tell them that the Stig was beaten by a girl in the 2009 Bathurst.

Our language, we say it how we want to. Cool

(In any case, an Englishman saying it properly just sounds wrong)

2 hour show tonight. Do I dare get my hopes up and assume Nein are showing the whole BBC epi + ads, or are the qunts gonna show a truncated S14 epi and a repeat from S farkin 4?

My money is on the latter. Qunts.
