Lime green cricket ball next off the rank?

Can't find a link on the web, but the Sunday Tele in Sydney today had an article about a $19 lime green cricket ball being used in Queensland (Caloundra?) grade cricket. Lasts much better than white or pink.

I suppose they could always paint the grass another colour. Or genetically modify it.
