Haddin's keeping
Has it got a lot better? The PPers seem to think he is the new Healy all of a sudden.

Re: Haddin's keeping
Since the long rest with his broken finger he has looked very balanced and sharp . . .

Not saying he's the best, but he has been quite safe and clean behind the stumps and taken some really good catches . . . just a few fumbles and a couple of mix ups between him and North from what i've seen . . . but a real improvement

Re: Haddin's keeping
Interestingly though as his keeping has arguably improved he's become less incisive with the bat. We might be immersed in the truncated form (s) of the game at present but he's been noticeably absent from the runs columns. In tests you wonder at times if he puts the value on his wicket that his talent commands.

Right, unfortunately this means I can't take the rise out of him over on PP, thereby winding up the PPers who think the Australians are all gods.
But well done Haddin for improving!

Hey Rob - were you at Griffin Park to see the Bees mulch the Gills last Saturday?
Good work from the lads, they could've had a hatful more goals than the 4 they got.

No, I stayed in to study for exams. I wish I'd gone now! I wonder if the Bees can manage a playoff berth?

The most hilarious comment over there is that the current Aussies are every bit as good as their Hayden-NLWL-Tugga-Gilchrist-TGM-tgm counterparts.

Nice thought, but unlikely ... they should make the top 8 if they keep this up.
They're hard to beat at Griffin Park ... (hope that desn't woof them) ... so that will keep them interested.

Where do they have to get stronger to challenge for Championship promotion, do you think?

More midfield control, tight ground passing and less high balls (in hope) into the box ...
A solid back four with a decent keeper has done 'em well so far this season.
Scotty always said he needed a season to consolidate ... so 2011/12 ought t see the big push.
Oi, you... they're better than wank.

Yeah, you're totally right. Still, we've survived well with our 7 best players moving on and having £22.91 to spend on replacements. 9 games unbeaten. 5 points off the play-offs. Whacka whacka. :| :|
