Pretty gritty match between Italy and Scotland - Italy win.

Good rugby.

Rugby covers all types of games, not just the field basketball that Australians seem to only like. Forward play is part of the game. Not high quality (you wouldn't expect it to be), but a good game to watch.

It was good for the spectacle though, always good to see the Italians get a win and it went down to the wire. It's a shame they joined the 6 nations so late, they had a pretty decent team in the 90s.

Painful to watch and not helped by some shitty refereeing . . . and please tell me more about this forward play, I'm fascinated, because I saw two shitty packs do fark all for most the day but roll around and give away soft penalties . . .

"Two shitty packs"

Italy were the least shittiest then, and I do like the sarcastic tone in what you type. It makes you much easier to forum with. Really does.

England go down limply again - so predictable it goes without a mention.

England are a team in transition - they're building a side to take on the world, it's a work in progress. They've only been doing it since 2004, you have to give them time. Rolling Eyes

Perhaps they should try Australian style then.

Not really. It's still good enough to dump Australia out of the World Cup.

I guess it's comforting to have something to cling to. Laughing

I really don't get the field basketball perception.

Well, it's three times in a row now. I believe we get to keep you. Wink

As for the field basketball, how else would you term a scoreline like Lions 65, Waikato Chiefs 72? That's just shite rugby.
