New Aussie Flag

Ray Martin, all round good guy, cricket tragic, South Sydney supporter (*cough*) and walking toupee earlier this week was on the wireless suggesting it's time to reignite the debate over the Australian Flag.
Personally I like the one we've got (above), but here are some of the suggested new looks:

Repeating my design -
A predominant yellow and green background (Oz sporting colours) - bannana republic kinda colours as well but what the hell ... divided into four quarters ... each depicting relevant events in Australian history.
Top left corner - Chains, handcuffs and anklets to depict Aussie origins.
Top right corner - Warne and Hawaii in embrace with Aboriginals - depicting the Aussie addiction to Sport and the Past.
Bottom left corner - A picture of Alice Rock ... depicting isolation, insignificance and total irrelevance.
Bottom right corner - the changing picture of the incumbent President of Australia, depicting the new face of Oz ....when, soon hopefully, you guys sign-off from the UK permanantly.

Well, for starters, what country has a f*cking animal on their flag? Sesame Street?
Three or four of them look like Stalin spunked all over the SU flag and they're the mess the clean-up made.
Two look they been drawn by Johnny #5.
The rest look like they've been sent in by Dean Jones who's bored because he can only makes racial insults at his own TV.

I like the 2nd row down, 3rd from left .... Southern Cross on a blue background ... but would have the Red strip going top to bottom to the left (not horizontal at bottom).
