A public request of you.

For purposes of updating the glossary, you have given lardy and I some extremely limited moderation privileges. These allow us to work on a behind the scenes section of the forum, especially for glossary preparation.

Some users of this forum seem to think these powers extend far beyond this.

I can't speak for lardy, but could you please, until the next time a glossary update is warranted, remove me from this list? That way, I can add these users to my ignore list, and they can ignore me and not have their paranoid delusions about why they can't ignore me fulfilled.

There's one individual in particular whose rantings I don't need to see, and I'm living in hope that with a mutual ignore in place, there will be a whole lot less biplay going on.

Anyhoo, I'll do what I said I'd do, and pay its posts no more heed.

If all the other posters who suggested doing the same thing in the hope that starved of attention, he'd go away, did the same, it just might work.

Of course, if it doesn't go both ways, it keeps going me, and people keep quoting it, then it would be silly of me to stay out of it.
