Inti is grouse

Post by skully on Thu 07 Jan 2010, 21:24

While looking around for the latest ICC Test rankings, I happened upon this link (apologies if it has already been posted):

Inti reckons Banindians are sh!t

"Interestingly, Alam considers the team from Down Under a better one than the men-in-blue, who are placed on the number one spot in the ICC Test rankings. “Although the Indians are number one right now, I think the Ricky Ponting’s men are a better bunch. They turned the tables to emerge victorious from a certain defeat.” "

PMSL. Cool

Well considering he's the coach of a team who has just completely f*cked up against Aus, he's hardly gonna say they're shit.

Still funny but, Trev. Cool

He didn't have to mention Banindia at all, but still did.

Well I can't imagine Inti will be Pakistan coach for too much longer anyway. Apparently Pakistan's fielding practices before each day's play are conducted at an intensity level equivalent to under 15's.

So how come Kamran Akmal didn't blame his sh!t keeping on Inti?

Seems everyone is stabbing the poor bugger (Akmal) in the back. He may as well get a few stabs in himself.

So they've stepped it up quite a bit.

Considering the fates and departures of the last couple of Pakistan coaches I cant see a flood of applicants for the job

My guess is that Waqar will be offered the head coaching job.

Further grouseness:
When asked if a separate team for the Twenty20 format was the way to go, Intikhab told the News: "I think we will have to do that. If you play too much Twenty20 cricket then it becomes almost impossible for you to have the sort of patience and temperament that you need to shine in Test matches.

These wise old South Asian spinners are refreshingly frank. Bedi's javelin thrower analogy for Chuck was also on the money. Cool

He is neither wise nor a spinner. Just a whiney, ingracious old blowhard.
