It looks like they are giving what is called the amateur league FC status which is crazy.

Does the MCC rule on what constitutes FC?

Not sure cricket archive is always perfect. Even I appear in their stats!

I took my stats from the supersport series averages, which is the premier FC competition in SA

CricInfo must also include those amateur matches in their FC stats.

If they do it's a joke. The standard is pisspoor. The papers don't even print the scores.

Can't be bothered to see if anybody has done this but:

Tahir > Harris.

Get him in.

No, get Parnell in and f*ck Harris off.

Well except for the minor detail that Tahir is not eligible....

Don't get him in then. Just get Harris out. He be a piss-weasel. An up-and-down filth trader of wheelie bin proportions.

De Wet's back injury will keep him out for the rest of the season and Parnell is tipped to play. According to Arthur Parnell has a test century in him so he probably adds a bit to the batting as well as providing the left-arm variety to the attack even if some suspect he might be a bit green at this juncture for the longer format of the game.

Well, if he has a ton in him, I'm sure we'll oblige.

Not sure he's too green, myself. He won't have to lead the attack with the opening bowlers doing a stand-up job so far. He'll be first change and as you say will provide a difference in angles. I certainly wouldn't like the England team to be facing him.

Parnell is a promising player certainly, but it's a big ask for him to come in for the final Test of a series when SA need the win desperately.

Left arm over also adds to the rough outside the right hander's off stump - I'm sure Swann will be happy about that.
