Watto

Post by Big Dog on Mon 04 Jan 2010, 20:05

After his latest nineties nightmare, is it time for a new nickname for Watto?

How about 'Mr Cricket Choke it'
or
'The Ippy Strangler'

Suggestions?

'The Ippy Strangler'

Sounds like RD after a bout of frustration on one of his trips.

Although maybe he'd be 'They Ippy Python Strangler'

He's trying to be the new Bradman. You know, the average in the 90s thing. Only problem is that the dumb Billy hasn't realised that as an opener he has to go past the 90s on some occasions to get it there, he can't rely on not outs to boost it.

Agreed Mick, but what does that say about the rest?

So this summer it's Kallis 2 Aus 1?

You'd need to ask Watson's detractors.

A wise man texted me today asking what odds would you have got 6 months ago about the two best Aus batsmen v Paksters being Watto and Paris. Shocked

As alluded to in T1, Mick, you can scratch me off that list. He looked all class today and was only undone by a peach from Gul.
