Without wishing to say too much or defend the indefensible, the Jamaican Police are famous for being overzealous, particularly when dealing with sport stars with large egos (of which Jamaica has many).

From what I gather, the policeman came into the Bar giving it the big I am, JT confronted him asking why the bar was being closed so early. The policeman then hand cuffed him, JT tried to resist. Apparently this constitutes assault and resisting arrest. To be perfectly honest with you, this case will almost certainly be dropped or he will receive a small fine.

In JA the police are just as bad as the gangs and have an ego to match.

And 3 years on they still don't know who or what killed Woolmer.

So who murdered Woolmer ? Same fellows who murdered Benazir Bhutto ?

considering the fact that Scotland Yard came in both cases and gave a clean chit to the perps.

No I am talking about your cops out on the streets rather than at senior level.

Well, at least the cops out on the street arrested someone.

BTW, where was JT at the time of Woolmer's death? Just a random thought...
