What is going on with the Commonwealth Games?

It seems - going from the plethora of media reports (see the Google news search results for links a-plenty) that England is giving serious consideration to pulling out of the Comm Games in Delhi in 2010.

Would they still be the Commonwealth Games without one of the Home nations?

Will Australia and Canada take 90% of the medals if the Poms don't show?

Can the Comm Games organisers OARIAB?

First i've heard of it. All the links in google news appear to contradict each other.

A lot of high profile stars are said to be skipping the games though.

Wouldn't bode well for any other major sporting events India may be hosting in the near future...
