Good to see a lower scoring affair here.

Shit, this was today.
Scoreboard on cricinfo shows some not bad signs. All out and for less than 250. When did that happen last?

My biggest regret is missing this match innings. Just yesterday I was commenting about how these flat pitches were killing one day cricket and how I hated seeing these high scoring contests all around. I had given up on this venue as well after reading it's idiot curators word on it. I would love to see the highlights of how some 120/1 off 15 overs ended in 239 all out under 45 overs. Good bowling or some crap Lankan batting, I don't know what. But this is what makes one dayers exciting when bowlers get a word or two in. Imagine how boring it would have been if we had gotten another 325/6 kind of score here?
When was the last time Indian bowlers caused such a collapse on a good batting wicket in an one day game in India?

I haven't seen any TV all of morning....as in 'Prime Time Working hours without TV'.....
I am sure you must be lucky if you get to watch TV at office or wherever you work?

Work from home, for myself. Hardly missed a cricket match in the last 2 years.

Lucky Stiff! I am on the way too. I recently resigned from my job to pursue freelancing full time! Come new year 2010 and I will also be working from home. Hopefully I should now be able to balance both my work and stage shows better and also spend some more time with my kid too in the bargain. I look forward to a work schedule where I can take a break to drop the kid to school and watch some good cricket live without worrying about meeting my deadlines or keeping up with edgy project managers. I definitely won't miss the daily peak rush hour traffic and Mumbai's potholed roads from hell!

Well, well. Wonders never cease. Looks like D. Karthick played for a quick finish and prevented SRT from getting a possible one day century in the process with sufficient time and overs still in hand.

Will you be playing in India's new 'Comedy Stores', such as in New Delhi?

Jadeja seems to be the find of the series. Not sure he can keep it up though. I still think the ultimate killer-instinct was missing. Sehwag's field placings were impressive and aggressive. That and no bowling outside the leg stump might have been the deciding factors. Let's see whether there will be any fire at Eden (pun unintentional).

Obviously you don't get those news channels on your paid DTH services where the anchor announces after a match defeat like a judge,"Peet gayi Team India....Ludak gaye Dhoni ke sher.....Nahi chala Dhoni ka balla.....Ek baar phir shikast hue Kaagaz ke sher....Phir bhi inhe sharam nahi aayi match ke baad party mein jaani mein...."
"Iss haar ka zimmedaar kaun....Kya kar rahi hai BCCI? Aakhir kyu nahi chali Mahi ki kaptaani...."
