Re: AFL 2010
(Also posted in the Leeeeg thread, but equally relevant here)
Omen - in the NFL, the Saints won the Super Bowl for the first time ever after entering the NFL in 1967.
The Leeeg Saints 'Golden Era' ended in 1966 (I know they've won GFs since then, but I'm being Nostradamus)
The AFL Saints won their only flag in 1966.
Could 2010 be the year of the Saints all round?

Re: AFL 2010
Noice. I can but hope. I'll happily accept a Saints AFL win if it means a Drags Leeeeg win.

Re: AFL 2010
Swans were up by 52 to 23 late in the 2nd quarter. You shouldn't lose from there. P!sspoor 2nd half. But on that form the Aints would've eaten them for dinner if they had've scraped through.
Good luck to the Dogs. But it'll be a Cats v Aints Granny.

Is there any doubt, Nath?
Pies are certainties to choke, and the Aints will eat the Dogs.

Re: AFL 2010
Disappointing way to bow out after leading by 28pts in the 2nd Quarter
I guess it had to come eventuallly that Roos and Kirk would finish there careers, sadly not with another flag but at least going out as a Premiership winning Coach and Captain.
Kudos to the Dogs for forming the guard of honour for Kirk as he was chaired from the field.
My only hope now is the Cats absolutly steamroll the Pies, and from there would be happy with either of the remaning 3 sides winning the flag.
