Although the dosh was apparently pretty good for the story, it would seem unlikely that she would go so public if there wasn't some truth in the story.

Taips, a state Premier whilst single, apparently had a fling with a woman who was either married or estranged from her husband.

He's denying all, and I've got to give him points for chutzpah, but unless some physical evidence turns up he'll probably ride it out.

The shagging wasn't really the issue, it was the allegation that they did it on the desk in his Premier's office, between Parliamentary sittings.
