Re: Sunny better than Sachin
Old news. I am losing respect for SS with every passing day. There was a time when they really held a lot of esteem among most Mumbaikaars and were a tight working unit. Now they only exist to abuse for tye sake of going one up on Raj and end up doing more crappy things. Raj has baited them well and has well worked them up to the point that the idiots have completely lost focus of their political ideology, their base and are fast losing their supporters in their confused clutching of pricky straws inclusing the 'Marathi Manoos' issue......
I reported this crap in The Indian Cricket thread and the list of Mumbai's beneficiaries from Sachin's side is also there. Even then, Sachin chose quite a few players when he was captain thinking they were good and based on their great Ranji winning record in domestic season. He wouldn't have known they would all let him down big time.

Re: Sunny better than Sachin
Kambli & Kuruvilla were good enough. 1 couldn't handle fame and the other missed his prime years due to bad selections. Agarkar managed to have a long career because of a 'potential' he never fulfilled fully. Ganguly was more guilty for investing more faith in him though. The rest were crap though.

Re: Sunny better than Sachin
Does the term WGAF! occur to anyone here?
Sunni (qunt though he is would make my all time test team as an opener).
Sachin would miss out because hey there's only one No.3 spot.

Re: Sunny better than Sachin
I can't think of any situation where I would pick Sunny over SRT in my team.

Nah - any advantage that Sunny would have as an opener wouldn't outweigh the qunt factor.

Re: Sunny better than Sachin
I think we've already discussed the qunt factor. But with Sunni and SRT we're discussing apples with pears.
