Pidgy's still got it.
Yeah, it was bit of harmless T20 stuff at the Gabba last night, but how much could we do with big Pidg's line, length and height that he displayed so well for the All Stars?
Ugh, I fear we (or at least our bowlers) will be living in the shadows of the two great men (Warnie bowled pretty well last night too) forever.

Steve Smith didn't do too badly. With a little bit of assistance, he could be ok. Better than Hauritz anyway! Someone will probably hold the fact that he is from NSW against him though

Aye, it is an indictment though that someone who should be nutured in first class cricket so that he has a chance at becoming a test bowled gets his first game for aus in a T20 ffs

You're quite right. T20 is just a glorified slogfest, but I guess everyone has to start somewhere. Hopefully he will catch the eye of the selectors.
Welcome aboard.
Thanks

I channel flicked to this game last night during ads of another show ... enjoyed what I saw of McGrath and Warne.
I think it was White batting when one of the commentators said something like "big arms, big bat and hit the ball as hard as you can". Pretty much sums up why I haven't taken to this format of the game.

Warnie batted last to make sure he didn't have to face Tait, eh?
