Aussies have their cricket priorities right.

Post by Red on Fri 20 Nov 2009, 20:11

Which form of cricket do you prefer?

Test 81%
50-over 11%
Twenty20 8%
712 votes.

Very different from Indian, SA and New Zealand where test cricket appears to have died if you believe the surveys and attendances.

Currently on the ABC site and Grandstand have spent a fair chunk of the afternoon asking callers etc. what their preferred mode of cricket is. Test cricket has overwhelmingly captured the fans' hearts and there appears to be a fair spread of love for cricket which belies to an extent what the media might think given that the Melbourne press and tv news is still heavily skewered towards AFL despite it being the off-season.

No comments from the BanIndians? Surprise, surprise. Their attention span is only suited to T20s these days. Rolling Eyes
