Is my computer about to blow up?

Since yesterday the fan has been on full tilt and is making me deaf. And today it made the same racket immediately on start up.

You could try opening up your computer just to see that it isn't leaning on the case (or anything else for that matter). How old is your PC?

Clean your computer. Could be that the vents are blocked.

Then replace the fan if need be.

Hmmm, its only about 18 months old. External vents are fine, i'll give it a hoover later today.

Well with the air you breathe out of your mouth there will always be a lot of moisture which could damage components.

Hmm, opened up the old girl and looks like its the case fan thats always on yet the insides looks pristine.
