Cal me an utter b*stard but I'd rather see Tredwell playing than the current model of Abdil Rashid. At least the former is likely to put in 10 overs for 50-ish on a regular basis, if not an odd cheeky 10 overs for 45-ish. Of course he won't be winning any matches and helping England on to a new level of ODI supremacy but he'll do the mid-innings run-enabling thing well enough.
Rashid, bless him, looks sub-Salisbury at the moment. With the ball he's just plain shocking.

Adil Rashid is sh*t. If he had the equivalent amount of talent as a slow left-armer he'd be Ashley Giles (but a better bat).

Nothing like writing someone off at age 21.

The pessimism of English fans is unreal; but can you blame them?
Rashid will come good one day. However, comparing him to Salisbury is in very bad taste. Poor form, Tom.

Another four to go before the proper cricket starts.

Rashid 3 overs 0-27.
Maybe his batting will really come on and he can give up the leg-spin.
