Re: 388,888
Last medical came back fine. I'm relying on someone's (Darwin?) law of natural selection or the Chewbacca defence or something. And it's stinking hot outside which is liable to do more damage to my health than the coffin nails.

Re: 388,888
Well, I won't tell you about the plethora of ailments my dear old Dad was suffering from when he passed away. Blamed 'em all on smoking (which he did from when he was 12 until the doctor said "you go to the end of the bypass queue if we see another gasper in your mouth"). He quit cold turkey, but the damage was done. He gave up the coffin sticks at 56 and lived until he was 70.

Re: 388,888
Some of the sicker members of my extended family and some old friends have a book running on my lifespan and which organ will fail first.
When Mrs qmy gave up a couple of years ago I thought I'd get the ultimatum but she only insisted I stop smoking in my study, once qmyjr was old enough to go into it without nuking the place.

Cos it's ferkin slow enough in here for me to check the total post count. On the Front FB page it shows the total post count across all forums. At 388,887 I posted the one claiming the mark above, then checked it was no. 388,888. And it was.
Or are you just takin' the p!ss?
