Embarrassing/Compromising photos of oneself

Post by Paul Keating on Tue 03 Nov 2009, 23:29

Have you got any?

To my horror when flicking through an old photo album, lo and behold about ten years ago there is a photo with me wearing a Manly Sea Eagles jersey. I have no idea why I was wearing it.

I couldn't blame anyone if they wanted to throw petrol on me and light a match. Putrid Manly siders.

I personally don't have any embarrassing photos of myself, but I rarely have any of myself. On Facebook however, whereby I cannot moderate it (as I'm not on there) there are literally hundreds. Numerous ones in f*cked up states. Cringeworthy.

Every photo of myself is compromising - If I happen to glimpse one I nearly faint out of awsomeness at how god damn good looking I am.

I have a photo of meself, bleary eyed after a night out on the piss which some bas**rd took as a joke the following morning - had me in a borrowed Scum Utd shirt ....

The one good thing about the photo was that the shirt was covered all down the front in my puke ... carrots, tandoori chicken, khebabs ... the lot.

Framed, it sits proudly on my office desk.

Yep - taken in 1973 in the then Southern Rhodesia. Sitting behind a bush relieving myself (taken by my ex-hubby) whose new wife is sending me about 10 e-mails per day and wants me to join her on Facebook. I just haven't got the heart to tell her fark off.

Perhaps it was Halloween? Or one of those "I can't believe you wore that" parties.

Hopefully you've shed enough skin over the past decade to get the evil out of your system, but I wouldn't be taking any chances.

As for compromising photos of oneself...

Well, my friend did take a photo of me pissing into Sydney Harbour after a night at the Opera House (and more importantly, a visit to the Opera bar).

This is like radio porn.

Has the FB really come to this - describing photographs?
