Cricket Images

Post by DJ_Smerk on Mon 02 Nov 2009, 12:14

Which images from the cricketing world stir up some sort of emotion in you? Laughter, anger, joy, sadness, interest...

I don't know why, but I like this image. It might be down to the fact that it represents something odd in the particular form of the game. Men around the bat is a sight to see, especially when the spinner has his tail-up.

Nah, this is from a T20 a while ago. Possibly during the last Australia/India series in Australia.

I had assumed it was one of your crew asking the question.

Lovely stuff. Don't see them pack the slip-cordon like that these days.

I particularly like this image because it illustrates James Harris scoring decent runs against Nottinghamshire in 2007.

The first one was a set up during the closing stages of a drawn Test in NZ in the mid 70s. It was used for a cover shot (or something like that) on an upcoming DKL book.

And the 2nd appears to be Lilac Hill (WA) tour opener from an early 2000 tour of Aus by the Zimmers.

Oops, having a shocker. Pete's was a link, not a question.
