Even more zzzzzzzzzzzzz - Bang v Zim atm:
| Zimbabwe innings (50 overs maximum) | R | B | 4s | 6s | SR | |||
![]() | H Masakadza* | c Mohammad Ashraful b Nazmul Hossain | 2 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 40.00
| 0.5 first blood! short of a good length delivery, came in with the angle, Masakadza looks to go over the top of mid-on but fails to get enough bat on it and the ball lobs up straight to Ashraful at mid-on. Nazmul strikes in the first over 2/1 | ||||||||
| MA Vermeulen | not out | 1 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 33.33 | ||
![]() | BRM Taylor† | c & b Abdur Razzak | 0 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0.00
| 1.3 gone! tossed up close to the off stump line, Taylor pushes forward and drives at it and the ball goes straight back to the bowler who makes no mistake. Zimbabwe two down in two overs. Excellent start for Bangladesh 3/2 | ||||||||
![]() | CK Coventry | c †Mushfiqur Rahim b Nazmul Hossain | 1 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 16.66
| 2.3 another one bites the dust! short of a good length delivery and this one shaped away a touch, Coventry stays back and has a prod at it, ball clips the outside edge and goes straight to the keeper. Zimbabwe three down and in deep deep trouble here 4/3 | ||||||||
| MN Waller | not out | 0 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0.00 | ||
| Extras | 0 | |||||||
![]() | ||||||||
| Total | (3 wickets; 3.2 overs) | 4 | (1.20 runs per over) | |||||

This is what YK said at the toss,
"280 + would be nice to defend".
Not that they can't get to 280, still.........

With their bowling lineup and Kiwi batting, I think they can probably defend less than 220-225.

Absolutely, he's gone to pieces since playing IPL cricket.

NZ have the weakest middle order in World Cricket, it has to be said. These so called 'rising stars' such as Taylor, Guptill and Ryder (not playing) really aren't pulling their weight at International level.
It might be down to lack of competition for a place on the Kiwi domestic circuit..
Once again, Vettori battling away. He should be play at number 3/4.

29.3
Saeed Ajmal to Redmond, OUT, Finally, Ajmal gets an lbw verdict in his favour. It was quicker, on the off stump line and Redmond missed the sweep and was hit on the off stump line. It would have crashed into the stumps.
AJ Redmond lbw b Saeed Ajmal 52 (91b 6x4 0x6) SR: 57.14
Vettori will have to dig NZ out of this mess once again....

started watching the match after the 25th over in NZ's innings and the only thing worth watching was Ajmal's bowling
looking at the scorecard it seems that NZ were on top until the 25th over of PAK's innings but after that it was just one way traffic.

yeah good to see Styris back, he was a very good player of spin and i am sure with regular cricket he will get better. Styris and Oram have the ability to bring some life in to the NZ team but as of now they both look very rusty.
At full strength their team should be
Ryder
BM
Guptill
Taylor
Styris
Oram/Elliot
Vettori
Mills
Patel
Bond
Butler

Dropping Redmond will knock his confidence and he definitely deserves another game after that battling 50 odd under pressure.
I assume your XI is the ODI version of NZ. Southee is definitely a better Test bowler than he is in the shorter form.
