The selectors don't which is why they are experimenting with Henriques, Voges etc. In truth, away JAMODI tours at least are only ever seen as practice for the next World Cup.

With the next WC played in India among other places it's not a bad series to experiment in but if India wins they will probably be ranked #1 in the world and we won't hear the end of it until they're next beaten. This series is between the two best ODI teams so Punter would be hoping we gave a pretty good account of ourselves. He always looks tense in the field when the camera pans to him so it does mean something to him. It's not exactly attracting much publicity here though with the spring carnival dominating and AFL still probably getting more column space than cricket.

We have a very weak side over in BanIndia at the moment, so experimenting is all we can do.

Henriques reminds me of one of the "next Botham" all rounders that England produced in the 90's.

Henriques could turn into a decent player but at the moment he is being picked on potential.

Even Ranga McDonald deserves a spot ahead of him.

McKay over Nannes? The Aus selectors really are more retarded than England's.
