It's a 3-part murder mystery being screened on ITV1 on Mondays featuring Robbie Coltrane.
So far so good, but the main episode is next week when all is revealed - obviously that will dictate judgement on the whole thing.
I asked because it's directed by Catherine Moorshead who you might remember as having done quite a few episodes of Ashes to Ashes..

Yeah, there's not much on at the moment really, but that and Life on a Monday have been quality!

Michael Vaughan has accused Jonathan Trott of celebrating with the South Africa team after England lost in 2008.

Vaughan claimed he saw South Africa-born Trott congratulating the opposition after the game at Edgbaston.

Writing in his new autobiography, Vaughan said: "I was going into the press conference and I saw him patting them on the back. It hit home what English cricket has become like."

That last statement is revealing.

Is Vaughan still angling for a place in the Ashes?

Not sure about "in" the Ashes ... on the ashes would be more appropriate.
I mean wtf is it with this bitter little twat?

One thing's for sure AFAIC ... if MPV get a slot on Sky Sport/Cricket, I cancel my subs for that channel immediately.
The last thing I want to hear is his whinging monosylabic, boring single timbre and pukey-nasally Tykie accent poisoning the airwaves.

I'd be surprised if that happened. He was tedious on TMS and that won't have escaped Sky's attention. Plus they've got the recent ex-England captains covered with Athers and Nass who are possibly the best two pundits / commentators around anyway.

Sells books. He's got to fill it with something - he hasn't got an old crystal meth anecdote to fall back on (nor, more damagingly, the story of how his focus during his first grand slam final was on whether his wig would fall off or not), and there's only so many pages a wonky knee and a total inability to wear vests without looking like a sex offender can stretch.

Even if it were true, who gives a crap? A guy born in raised in South Africa has some South African friends? The horror...
