Zimbos on top in minnow clash in Bangla.

Post by Red on Tue 27 Oct 2009, 01:03

They are currently 0/39 after seven in pursuit of 187. Bang recovered a bit after being 8 for 130 odd but the Zimbots have started well. Maybe they have turned the corner.

Hopefully, the Zimbot's will regain sufficient form and get Test status back in a decade or so!

Revenge for the Bangla-Dees as Shakib smashes a century off 68 balls & his team score 3/221 off only 29.3 overs to win the 2nd ODI.

Razzak took 5 wickets in the Zimbabwe innings.

Why can't this just be a one off test match?

Rather than 5 wasted ODI's?

To top off a great day for the Bangla-Dees, their under 19 team defeated England U19 by 4 wickets. Tasamul Haque was 50 not out while Joe Root top-scored for England with 54.

Some good all-round performances -
Saikat Ali (Ban) 46 & 10/1/17/2
Danny Briggs (Eng) 41 & 10/4/14/2

Wow!

The Bangers roll the Zims for only 44 in the 4th ODI.

how doctored are these pitches given Bangers have been playing 3-4 spinners?

And the Bangers lost four wickets in pursuit of a paltry 45. After losing the first ODI, they probably decided that spin was the order of the day.
