Like Facebook's T&Cs including to enslave and prostitute its users free of charge (virtually).

I don't know how they link the info, but the people you originally mentioned (me, Nigel and Hilda) have all sent you emails and all have facebook accounts so it must be something to do with the email address we have all used to contact you.

Hilda often sends emails to a big group of people, me included. All those people (most of whom I don't know) come up as possible new contacts on facebook. One of them is Chandan.

How about asking them how they get the info? It should be stopped.

This is super dodgy, isn't it? It seems like they've somehow got a list of people who have emailed me, or who I've emailed, regardless of what account I've used.

I'll reiterate: there is no conceivable way Facebook can link me to my Flamingbails email account. I didn't sign up with it and haven't mentioned it anywhere.

Simple cure - don't use facebook, it'll give you aids.

I was recently told by someone I am way too paranoid about these things. Facebook in particular.

But my humble view is that it's possible to be not paranoid enough, when it comes to cyberspying.

In short, have you read the other FB's Terms of Use?

Yes, it's very dodgy that information about us is being shared without our knowledge. But, the worse thing that can happen is that someone will find out your real name and see a thumbnail pic of you. I'm not saying that's okay but that's as scary as it gets, (I think.)

One example: If you have clicked on any application (at all) within Facebook, you will have had to click on a permission for that and all other users of it to be able to access your personal info.

Unwanted links thus spring up. With e-mail addies automatically attached.

Ajay is the name of the ex-boss's son whose email a/c's I used to handle, and ltr on when the company officials took their own i.d's, it was used by me to register on various sites since I liked everything at one place.

Dello's real name is Dorothy.
