As long as you make sure your settings on facebook are secure and you only allow friends to view your details, everything is fine. People can only find out more about you if you accept them as friends. Click on my name and you'll see it's quite safe.

In any case, I'm not signed up to Facebook with that email account. There is no way - or at least there shouldn't be any way - that they can link my Facebook ID with that email account.
Unless they're snooping. Which they appear to be.
